Tommy Hilfiger launched on Wednesday the Hilfiger Sailing Collection for Spring 2025, paying tribute to the brand’s deep-rooted connection to the sea.
The 22-piece capsule reimagines archival silhouettes through a contemporary lens, and is inspired by the energy of sailing down the Hudson River.
“The open water and the yachting lifestyle have always carried a sense of freedom and adventure,” said Tommy Hilfiger.
“Since the early ‘90s, our collections have captured the spirit of the sea, embracing maritime influences and blending relaxed sailing-inspired design with timeless prep. This collection is a tribute to that passion, a modern interpretation of our nautical heritage that remains true to the pioneering spirit of the brand.”
The collection features technical regatta jackets, fleece hoodies and striped tees, as well as women’s outerwear redefined with fresh, feminine proportions and reversible functionality.
Throughout the capsule, signature maritime motifs including ropes, pulleys and signal flags are woven into the fabric of each piece, nodding to both collegiate prep and seafaring influence. A palette of deep reds and sophisticated greens gives the collection a fresh, coastal-cool feel.
The collection follows the brand’s sponsorship of the U.S. Sail GP Team as the official lifestyle apparel partner of the team. The multi-year partnership was announced in 2024.
