Although I don’t love everything from KORRES, the Greek, clean beauty brand, I do like or even love many of the products I have tried. Last year, I tried their Renewing Body Cleanser Mediterranean Vanilla Blossom, and I was disappointed. The primary scent was some kind of floral, and it wasn’t nearly vanilla-y enough. Also, it didn’t seem to suds up quite enough. In fact, I don’t think I reviewed it, or maybe I just did a Project Pan Empties mini-review.
Nevertheless, not to be daunted by the failure of my original purchase, I bought KORRES Ginger Lime Renewing Body Cleanser. I like it much better. The combination of ginger and lime is clean, refreshing and renewing. The scent is by no means overwhelming, but it’s enough that I can smell it. It does not leave any scent behind on my skin, so I can use any scented body lotion or any perfume I choose afterwards without there being a clash of fragrances.
KORRES Renewing Body Cleanser Ginger Lime creates enough suds especially when using a pouf or a sponge. And best of all, it is hydrating, and it locks in the moisture leaving my skin feeling soft and nourished.
KORRES Renewing Body Cleanser comes in 13 natural fragrances as well as unscented (that only comes in the one liter size). I purchased the 8.45 fl. oz./250 ml size, and its plastic container is completely recyclable. The website says it is suitable for vegetarians (not for vegans), and because it contains “hydrolized wheat gluten”, it is NOT gluten-free.
It is priced at $19 in the 8.45 fl. oz. size on the KORRES website, though it is also sold at Sephora. But on the KORRES website, you can accrue points to redeem for free products. That’s why I always shop on their website.
