The two green polishes I bought from Olive & June a few months ago have been sitting unopened wrapped up in the bubble wrap that they arrived in. Thinking about St. Patrick’s Day,
I thought this was the perfect time to choose one of them.

Frankly, I don’t remember buying “Touchdown!“, a medium green that is supposed to be the color of the turf on the football field. Somehow it seemed more Christmas-y than a St. Patrick’s Day shade.

Instead, I went with “WKF“, a cool mossy green polish. To me, it looks like green tempered with a bit of gray. This may or may not be the perfect St. Patrick’s Day nail polish, but I love this lighter, cooler shade. Plus, I knew I could enjoy wearing it for at least a week since O&J polishes are so long-lasting.
WKF requires at least two coats. The first coat is translucent, but the second coat turns it into a green creme opaque shade.
I followed up with O&J Super Glossy Top Coat. After a minute or two of letting the polish and top coat dry, I applied Olive & June’s fantastic, Dry Drops, an oil that cuts the drying time at least in half.
I’m going to pull out my multi-colored green, red and blue scarf and my green purse, and maybe wear my Celtics green jacket that my dad gave me for one of my birthdays, and have my own little St. Paddy’s Day celebration. Hope you have a fun day whether you’re Irish or not or celebrating the holiday or not!
