For Becky and David, Cincinnati has always been a special place—so it’s no surprise that David chose one of their favorite spots in the city to pop the question.
On a winter evening in December 2022, after seven years of dating, David suggested a festive night downtown. The two enjoyed a delicious dinner, took a spin around the Fountain Square ice rink, and even caught a fireworks display for the holidays.
The night wouldn’t have been complete without stopping at their favorite—Graeter’s Ice Cream (which also appeared at their wedding reception!). But the sweetest moment of the night was yet to come.
David led Becky to one of their favorite overlooks in Mount Adams, a place they’d visited often to soak in the city views. Under the sparkling Cincinnati skyline, David told Becky how much he loved her, pulled out a beautiful ring, and asked her to be his forever.
“I think I asked him at least seven times, ‘Are you serious?!’ before I finally said ‘Yes!’ It was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.”
